the two certainly one of those comprise very genuine and extremely suitable. i can absolutely relate to the 1st quote! I conceal in the back of a grin each and all of the time. i'm certainly one of those satisfied, hyper, loopy ladies who's continuously giggling and cracking jokes. yet additionally would properly be extreme while choose be and gets solid grades. Little do human beings understand, I as quickly as i'm on my own, i'm unhappy and heartbroken and a few nights I even cry myself to sleep. My existence would look exceedingly much suitable, even with the undeniable fact that it is in straightforward terms the different. i understand that those expenditures are not truly literal, like the 1st quote is probably no longer approximately exceedingly your eyes are or smile is, yet what it is sorta ironic approximately that's human beings tell me each and all of the time that I even have exceedingly eyes, yet interior i'm truly mushy. I additionally love the 2d quote! As I reported in the previous, i'm truly truly mushy, yet on occasion i'm rude and confusing and prefer i do no longer care only because of the fact i do no longer prefer to be harm and that i do no longer prefer to think of that folk can harm me, while actual i'm crying myself to sleep... :( A quote that i admire is that this: "I went to discover a chum and that i found none, I went out to be a chum and that i found many." additionally, only hear to the track think of via John Lennon. it is my well-liked track of all time and that i evaluate the full component to be a quote because of the fact it is so deep and encouraging and genuine! thank you for giving me 2 new expenditures to characteristic to my favorites checklist!

I think it has always been attributed to Abraham Lincoln and not Maurice Switzer.  Regardless of who said it, it is true.

What Maurice is saying is, if you don't want people thinking that your'e a fool because you said something, then be as quiet as much as possible. If you talk about random things, and people say rumors which you know is untrue, you have no doubts because you know its false.

There is a biblical proverb that expresses a similar idea, namely Proverbs 17:28.

Even a fool is thought wise if he keeps silent, and discerning if he holds his tongue.

I think it is a good idea for the most part, dont be too outright and state things you dont know. When things need to be said though, they ned to be said, when you know something is wrong you stand up for it, and when you know what your talking about there should be no reason to avoid a good debate. for the most part i uphold this quote, i don't always put my opinion out there, listen to others before talking, thats how you gain knowledge, thats how you avoid being a fool

As an old cowboy philosopher once told me, "Never miss a good opportunity to SHUT UP".  The bottom line is you have one mouth and two ears, that is not coincidence or happenstance.  You may not lean very much while listening but you will never learn anything while talking.

I dont like this quote, at all!

I think this quote instills a fear in people about looking stupid, and in a way it fools people into believing that their opinion is better left unsaid, at the risk of looking like an idiot.

Damn it, if you have something to say, say it!

THis one always makes me smile, broadly too. :D  I think we all have been foolish many times. We certainly recognize when people are. :O

Reminds me of a few good scriptures too.

Let your utterance be always with graciousness, seasoned with salt, so as to know how you ought to give an answer to each one.” Col. 4:6

A stupid son means adversities to his father, and the contentions of a wife are as a leaking roof that drives one away Proverbs 11:13

Better is it to dwell upon a corner of a roof+ than with a contentious wife, although in a house in common. Proverbs 21:9
