Advice on school, please help?

So, I've been doing home school all this year, & I haven't really learned anything. I'm always slacking because I know that I don't need to know this or that, & blah blah blah... I only do math, history, & gym. Everything else, I don't really need to do. But anyway, that's not why I'm here. I'm here because I'm somewhat scared of going to a public school. Mostly scared of not making friends, being lonely, talking in front of the class, & being made fun of. I want to go back to public school, but these things are stopping me. Can you give me any advice on what I should do?

All I can say is; if you really want to go back to public school-then you can try and take this risk. Be yourself- do not change to fit in because that's one of the worst things you can do to yourself, okay?

Give yourself a few weeks to adjust to your surroundings and for people to adjust to you.

Maybe you could say hi to people as you walk down the halls or be friendly, you know? If those people are friendly at whatever school you go to- then you'll make friends. Just give it time~

I'm actually leaving my public school because of the reasons you named..but some were a bit more severe. I live in a harsh neighborhood so of the course the kids are too, lol. You won't have to worry about this unless you live in my town.

I wish you the best of luck~

Try not to let fear dictate on what you decide.

Give public school a go for a few months and see how you like it :)
