No, THIS >>> (-81)^(3/4) is neg 81 to the 3/4 power, and it does not make sense at your level of math.( answer is 27i^3

you want to solve {or at least deal with} (-1)*[81^(3/4)] ... answer -27

a radical sign looks just like a sqrt sign, except you specify the powers (in a bastardization of real algebra.
