wouldn't survive without it.. gotta carry a notebook, pencil to classes. sometimes workbooks, textbooks. across a campus.

yep, you need it.

messenger bag or satchel would do the trick too. I got a leather knapsack that's soft and light. it does the job ^_^

note: you don't need to carry AS MANY textbooks as in high school, so a smaller one that you like the appearance of, or a large purse (satchel?) would do too

Many use backpacks, but its up to you.

It mostly depends on how much stuff you're carrying-- if it can be fit into a laptop or MacBook, most students will carry a bag/satchel, or a messenger bag.

If you've got textbooks, you're opting for a backpack.

Of course, nobody cares.

Hiya, i am a trend student too! I'm going to FIDM in LA. I simply scored an internship at Elle magazine!! I just use both a giant pocket publication i have.. It's a large chanel bag and it fits all of my books... Or sometimes, i exploit a tan messenger bag.. And lift it on one shoulder.. It looks particularly adorable. =] xox- manda

I've had a year of college and I see a lot of backpacks. I use one myself

I've seen a lot of both. You really can't go wrong with either. It's all preference.
