english, biology, speech, political science, algebra. There are a few other electives, but those are the biggies.
Composition 1 and 2, Biology/Chemistry, Algebra/Calculus/Trigonometry, probably a Speech class- it really depends on the college and the degree/career path you wish to follow. Take your ACT/SAT and set up an appointment with a counselor at your college of choice. They are the ones with the knowledge to lead you in the right direction. You can also log on to the college's website or have them send you a catalog of all the classes which also has the information in there with the degrees and the required curriculum for that degree.
It really depends on where you go , what degree you want, and what classes you took in H.S. But generally there's a basic english comp class and english lit class, history 1 and history 2, College Algebra, biology 1, and usually 1 other science of your choice... Those are the core classes obviously a math or science major would take more advanced courses in those areas than someone majoring in communications for example.
well I'm taking the main classes along with the classes for my major. i take four classes a semester 2 of them are the general required classes and 2 of them are for may major. i don't know if its different depending on what college you go to but the main classes are i think you have to have 1 math class, English comp 1 and 2, a science class, a history class, a few humanities classes and i think there are some others but I'm not sure. you should check with the college you are planning on attending
First thing you need to do is talk to you school adviser. He/she should be able to give you a list of classes that you need to take for you major. If you are undeclared then the advicer should still be able to help you. But to answer your question most schools require history, government, a college level math, 2 writing (composition classes), some form of science. It is basically the subjects you took in high-school. But again you should call and set up an appt. with your academic adviser
