Seven years of college are never down the drain, even if you were not advanced to candidacy.  Teaching high school, for example, is a much better job than flipping burgers.  If you want to take a break in the Peace Corps, that's fine, although the hard work and Spartan living conditions expected of a Peace Corps member are not much of a break

The Peace Corps is NOT a branch of the military! It's a world wide effort to help out under-developed regions!

I am sorry, pumpkin, I know it's tough when those associates degree programs don't work out. I joined the Peace Corps once upon a time and bedded  numerous local lovelies, smoked loads of Ganja and helped make the world a better place. How can you go wrong? Good times... ahhhhhh...

Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?

EDIT:  Aw, nuts.   Salvador beat me to it.

2nd EDIT:  Only if you want to file reports about your assigned area that will only be read by powerless do-gooders in U.S. government departments with teeny-tiny budgets and no influence (and by CIA researchers trying to figure out how to identify and kill human rights campaigners there).

I have a strong psychic feeling you have a mediocre career in the exotic dancer or soft porn industry.

Source(s): That will be $25 and you're welcome.
